Job summary

Jobot in Maryland is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney to provide comprehensive advice on wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning. You will draft and amend documents, work with clients to design durable estate plans, and stay informed on evolving laws.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership.

Job Details

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of estate planning matters including wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
• Draft, review, and amend legal documents related to estate planning.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective estate plans that meet their long-term goals.
• Stay abreast of current trends and changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and advise clients accordingly.
• Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to ensure a comprehensive service to all clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the MD State Bar, VA and DC a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning law.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
• Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
