DCM Services, LLC is seeking an Estate Claims Specialist to support our Probate Finder Claims Team across the country. You will process and file probate claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to court and client requirements.

In this role you will balance independent work with collaboration, maintain meticulous estate data, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in Bloomington, MN area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• File and present claims following signatory procedures.
• Notarize claims as a state-commissioned Notary Public.
• Ensure claims meet court and client requirements.
• Mail claims via standard or Certified Mail.
• Perform quality control validations of estate data.
• Conduct estate match reviews against probated estate data.
• Process returned claims and assist Sr. Estate Claims Specialist.
• Respond to ad-hoc client requests with Operations and Account teams.
• Process filing fee checks.
• Research missing estate data for database accuracy.
• Assist with post-claim documentation.
• Maintain compliance with security and privacy policies.

Our team combines careful research, attention to detail, and a genuine sense of purpose — helping families and creditors navigate the probate process accurately and efficiently.

About the Role

As an Estate Claims Specialist, you'll play a key role on our Probate Finder Claims Team, processing and filing probate claims in decedents' estates across the country. You'll work in a dual-contributor environment — sometimes independently, sometimes as part of a collaborative team — helping ensure claims are accurate, complete, and properly filed within court and client requirements.

What You'll Do

• Accurately file and present claims, including:
• Following proper signatory procedures as an authorized representative/agent
• Notarizing claims as a Company-approved, state-commissioned Notary Public
• Processing claims to meet specific court requirements and record retention standards
• Mailing claims via standard or Certified Mail to ensure proper receipt by courts, attorneys, and personal representatives
• Perform quality control validations of estate data to ensure proof of claim packages are accurate and complete
• Complete estate match reviews, verifying client information against probated estate data (backup support to the Estate Data Specialist)
• Process returned claims accurately and efficiently (backup support to the Sr. Estate Claims Specialist)
• Respond to ad-hoc client requests, communicating with Operations Managers, Client Liaisons, and Account Representatives
• Process filing fee checks accompanying claims
• Research missing estate data to keep our proprietary database current
• Assist with post-claim documentation (Release of Claim, Withdrawal, etc.)
• Maintain compliance with company information security and privacy policies

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Beginner to mid-level computer proficiency
• Entry-level familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail — organized, thorough, and accuracy-driven
• Comfortable problem-solving estate claim issues independently and via team collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a dual role that shifts between independent work and team collaboration

Education
