Jarvis Law Office, PC is seeking an Estate Administration (EA) Attorney in Ohio. The attorney will manage trust and estate administration and probate matters, advise on estate planning, Medicaid, and related areas, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of customer service experience, an active Ohio license (West Virginia license a plus), and a strong commitment to client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, in-good-standing Ohio law license.
• Five years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities with a high degree of independence.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned trust and estate administration and probate matters from opening through closing.
• Serve as a legal resource to attorneys and support team members on estate planning, trusts, Medicaid planning, probate, and estate administration matters.
• Meet with clients, trustees, personal representatives, and family members to explain legal matters and guide steps in the administration process.
• Review estate planning documents, trust funding recommendations, and files for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with Sales Attorneys, paralegals, and Client Success Coordinators to ensure seamless transitions from planning to administration.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to paralegals and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Maintain current knowledge of estate planning, trusts, probate, Medicaid, VA benefits, taxation, and long-term care planning.
