Job summary

Jarvis Law Office, P.C. in Ohio seeks a Managing Attorney to lead the legal team, oversee attorneys and paralegals, and manage client services. You will design estate plans, supervise daily operations, and ensure quality, ethics, and risk management across cases.

You will report to the Founding Attorney and CEO, with a broad remit including training, budget oversight, and business development to grow client relationships and firm revenue.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio or West Virginia law license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years of legal sales or client development experience with a track record of converting consultations into clients.
• Minimum 2 years of Elder Law experience; estate planning, estate administration, and Medicaid planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the legal department, supervising attorneys and support staff.
• Meet with clients to design plans for pre-planning and crisis cases.
• Oversee client engagement, retention, and ethics compliance.
• Review documents, retainers, and policies to ensure quality and risk management.
• Represent the firm in community outreach and education events.
