Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is offering an ESS Development Engineering Co-Op in Rochester, NY for Summer and/or Fall 2027. This in-person role involves hands-on work on energy storage and power conversion projects, with mentorship and exposure to senior leadership.

Join our Team as anESS Development Engineering Co-Op!

The Role:

We’re seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join our team inSummer and/or Fall 2027! This co-op hands-on experience in where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into the next generation of clean energy technologies – including lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, industrial chargers, and hydrogen fueling stations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in real-world design and testing. This is not a role where you’ll just observe - you’ll be solving problems, learning tools, and contributing directly to exciting projects in the energy and mobility space. You’ll collaborate with the Rochester Development Center team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of energy storage and power conversion products.

What We’re Looking For:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Current academic year entering Junior or Senior year BS, or Master’s any year
• Available to be onsite at ourRochester, NYlocation in Summer 2027 and/or Fall 2027
