Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Lenovo Esports and Gaming Lab Graduate Assistant to support events, live streaming, and space management within the Gaming and Esports Lab. The role focuses on engaging students, coordinating community activities, and assisting with outreach efforts at NC State in Raleigh, NC.

You will work under the Esports Program Director, join a team that values hands-on learning, collaboration, and growth, and contribute to an evolving campus gaming ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in event planning, live streaming, space management, or tournament coordination.
• Familiar with gaming and esports; comfortable with technology (software and hardware).
• Willing to learn new skills and take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support community engagement strategies to introduce users to gaming and esports.
• Collaborate with NC State colleges to support classes in the gaming and esports lab.
• Staff the Gaming and Esports Lab during Saturday evenings.
• Help administer outreach events to increase campus awareness of the esports program.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance lab offerings and improve user experience.
• Bring personal interests and expertise to contribute to lab growth.
