Job summary

Butler University is seeking a Front Desk Staff member for Butler Esports Park in Indianapolis. You will warmly greet guests, assist with check-in and memberships, and manage basic technology support for gaming stations, software, and equipment.

You will handle point-of-sale transactions, maintain records, help with events and daily operations, and uphold a welcoming, professional environment while learning new gaming tech.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment as a Butler University student throughout employment.
• Effective written and verbal communication with guests, members, and staff.
• Reliable with punctual attendance and scheduling.
• Willingness to learn gaming technology and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and members with friendly, attentive service.
• Assist with check-in, memberships, reservations, and general questions.
• Troubleshoot gaming computers, consoles, peripherals, and software.
• Process memberships, merchandise sales, and other POS transactions.
• Maintain organized front desk records and guest information.
• Keep gaming stations and front desk areas clean and welcoming.
• Monitor facilities to ensure proper use and safety.
• Support events and daily facility operations.
