As a Project Accounting Specialist at LJA Accounting, you will support day-to-day activities for Project Managers, set up projects, invoice clients, and generate reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a billing position.
• Intermediate level experience using Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain projects.
• Invoicing clients on a weekly/monthly basis with various bases.
• Prepare detailed backup documentation for invoices.
• Provide project, billing, A/R and other reports.
• Assist Project Managers and Collections with resolving AR issues.
• Analyze revenue and job cost.
• Review sub-consultants and insurance certificates for compliance.
• Review accounts payable and coding, including contractor invoices.
• Archive project documents and contracts.
• Collaborate with project managers and management.
• Complete special projects as requested.
