Job summary

We Are CASA is seeking an Adult ESOL Program Coordinator to oversee task-based English language learning, civic engagement, and integration of adult learners. You will collaborate with the Education Team to run high-quality ESOL programming across our footprint, ensuring consistent program success and alignment with We Are CASA's mission.

The role requires coordinating staff, evaluating lessons, and supporting grant-related data collection while fostering an inclusive, community-driven learning

Qualifications

• Required proficiency in English and Spanish; bilingual abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; TESOL preferred.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in adult ESOL/continuing education; classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of in-classroom advocacy tools aligned with We Are CASA’s education model.
• Track teacher lesson plans and provide feedback; train instructors in Popular Education.
• Conduct teacher orientation; plan and facilitate teacher meetings and trainings.
• Assist with selection of new teacher candidates and program volunteers; ensure procedures are followed.
• Observe teachers, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Organize standardized language assessments and report results for grants.
