Job summary

Corpus Christi Independent School District is seeking a Paraprofessional III to support English Learners within Bilingual/ESL programs. Under supervision, you will assist in delivering instructional support to EL students and help maintain LPAC documentation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 60 College Hours.
• Experience working with students learning a second language.

Responsibilities

• Plans with Bilingual/ESL teacher to provide English-acquisition instructional elements.
• Assists in preparation, organization, and management of materials and equipment.
• Reinforces English-language patterns consistently.
• Assists in administering language-proficiency instruments at year start and spring.
• Recognizes learning styles and changes in students.
• Recommends parents for involvement activities.
• Attends in-service workshops as needed.
• Participates in professional development in technology and ESL education.
• Works collaboratively with the principal, teachers, parents, and students.
