Dallas College is seeking a non-credit adjunct faculty member to teach non-credit workforce courses on campus. Positions are on-site with potential for hybrid arrangements after six months based on responsibilities and policy.

An associate degree or equivalent certification is required, with bilingual ability preferred for diverse learners. Responsibilities include designing syllabi, maintaining records of grades and attendance, providing evaluations, meeting submission deadlines, and completing

Qualifications

• Non-Credit Adjunct faculty must have an Associate degree with direct work experience in the specific content area or have specific certification/licensure related to the assigned course(s).
• Non-Credit Adjunct faculty teaching non-credit community based/non-workforce course(s) must have an Associate degree or direct work experience with applicable certification.
• Official transcripts required at time of interview.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop course syllabi with minimum college requirements, holidays, grading policies and attendance.
• Maintain accurate records for grades and attendance.
• Provide student evaluations per guidelines and accreditation/licensure body.
• Meet deadlines for end of term documentation.
• Complete required Dallas College professional development hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
