Institute For Latino Progress is seeking a Part-Time Instructor to teach English language program initiatives, including ESL, EL Civics, and literacy classes. Responsibilities include curriculum design, class preparation, and assessment, with a focus on attendance and student feedback.
The candidate should hold a BA in a relevant field, have at least 1 year of adult teaching experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
Under the supervision of the Dean of Adult Education and the Lead ESL Instructor, the Part-Time Instructor is responsible for imparting classes, implementing, and designing curriculum-based activities for the IDPL English language program initiatives, including ESL, EL Civics, English Literacy, and first language literacy classes.

Majority of work performed in a general office environment. Position requires availability for extended hours plus non‑traditional hours may be required to perform job duties. Also requires participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.
