Instructors may teach from Early Beginner through Advanced levels, with class schedules that include day, evening, or weekend sessions. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or higher in ESL/TESOL/Applied Linguistics, plus related certifications.

Qualifications - Education

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in ESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, orrelated field. Professional designations or certifications asappropriate to content being taught required.

Qualifications - Experience

• At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience withnon-traditional adult students preferred.
• 3+ years professional work experience in the subject matter.

Qualifications - Skills

• Ability to work with all groups of students.
• Strong presentation,verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use technologyin education.
• Bilingual/multi-lingual skills may be beneficialbased on students’ proficiency level.
• Demonstrated knowledge ofdiscipline including current developments and technologies inrelated field of specialization.
