Katy ISD MAYDE CREEK ELEMENTARY - Houston, Texas is seeking an ESL Aide to support elementary emergent bilingual students. The role collaborates with the Campus EB Specialist, ESL teacher, and core content-area teachers to provide high-quality ESL services and ensure compliance with policies.

Starting immediately, the position is non-exempt (IS03) with 187 duty days. Requires Title I campus hours or a diploma/GED for non-Title I, plus paraprofessional certification.

Formación

• College hours for Title I campus: 48 required or ParaPro score 464.
• Non-Title I campus requires a high school diploma or GED and paraprofessional certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with core teachers and special education to meet EB students’ needs.
• Facilitate targeted small group instruction based on language levels.
• Implement ESL program model in alignment with district policies.
• Administer oral/written tests for EB students as needed.
• Maintain student confidentiality and participate in professional learning.
