Job summary

WCTC Corporate Training Center is seeking an ESL instructor to deliver instruction within the approved delivery system and support a student-centered learning environment. You will work under the supervision of the Associate Dean/Instructional Manager to help students demonstrate course competencies.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s in some areas) and relevant occupational experience; teaching experience is desirable and licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a Master's may be required in some areas.
• Twelve months of occupational experience outside the educational field for academic instructors.
• Twenty-four months of related occupational experience for occupational instructors; at least one year within the last five years.
• Previous teaching experience is desirable.
• Appropriate technical/occupational licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students within the assigned instructional delivery system.
• Create an active learning environment to enable students to demonstrate course competencies.
• Ensure the instruction aligns with the district’s mission, goals, policies and procedures.
