Job summary

UNGLEP seeks a dedicated professional in the USA to advance the GYSCA initiative, focusing on partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and outreach to academic and corporate partners. The role involves coordinating with regional teams to align objectives and messaging across the UN system and partners.

The ideal candidate will drive programme promotion, engage with universities and industry, and contribute to regional communications strategies while ensuring high standards of governance

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field (MBA/IR/Public Admin/Comms/Marketing) or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ethical practice and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Partnership development and stakeholder engagement with corporations, academic institutions, and organizations across the USA.
• Promote the programme and conduct outreach to university students and recent graduates.
• Develop regional communications strategy and manage media engagement, press materials, and newsletters.
• Monitor ESG and youth employment trends; prepare regular reports for UNGLEP leadership.
