Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA progress preferred.
  • Typically 3–6 years of experience in investment management, ESG research, corporate governance, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of responsible investment, stewardship, and proxy voting practices.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with ability to synthesize disclosures, proxy statements and reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Power BI and Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement research and execute company meetings in support of defined objectives.
  • Support engagement target selection and maintain engagement records.
  • Lead and participate in proxy-related stewardship calls and coordinate with investment teams.
  • Review proxy voting policies and recommend revisions to governance committees.
  • Analyze proxy ballot items to inform voting decisions.
  • Perform due diligence and ensure timely voting across accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to support engagement, reporting and client deliverables.
  • Develop presentations, case studies and stewardship reports for internal/external audiences.
  • Monitor market developments and contribute to process improvements.
