Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Accounting (ESG Controllership) to advance ESG reporting and regulatory compliance. You will work with Controllership, Corporate Sustainability and Legal to coordinate inputs, prepare documentation and ensure timely, accurate disclosures.

You will support CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, California climate disclosures and other regulatory requirements, while partnering with ESG internal controls teams to drive robust, assurance-ready reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, sustainability or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in public accounting or multinational corporate accounting and reporting.
• Familiarity with ESG standards and climate reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support global sustainability reporting workstreams.
• Develop ESG metrics and disclosures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Support climate and GHG reporting with global/regional teams.
• Prepare materials for regulated and voluntary sustainability disclosures.
• Maintain schedules and disclosure documentation for regulatory processes.
