Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance lead to guide governance, risk, and ESG-related compliance across the organization. You will coordinate with senior leadership, regulators, and governance bodies to ensure transparency and robust controls.

You will design policies, manage regulatory filings, and oversee the conflicts-of-interest framework while partnering with global teams to strengthen compliance posture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services compliance or risk management with ESG exposure.
• Direct regulator engagement experience, ideally in the EU.
• Strong knowledge of EU ESG regulatory requirements or similar areas (pricing/credit).
• Ability to review ESG rating methods and governance structures.
• Experience implementing ESG transparency, governance, and conflict-of-interest controls.
• Ability to identify and manage regulatory risk using established frameworks.
• Proven policy drafting experience for senior leadership and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to senior management and the Management Board on regulatory obligations.
• Serve as primary contact for regulators, prepare filings, and coordinate regulatory responses, reviews, and inspections.
• Design and maintain ESG-related compliance policies and record-keeping procedures.
• Oversee conflicts of interest framework and staff training; manage staff trading restrictions.
• Monitor risk and control effectiveness with Group Risk and Compliance; report gaps to Management Board.
