Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years education/experience post-high school.
  • Experience must be in education, ed admin, professional development, or related field.
  • Includes at least 5 years in planning, initiating, or providing teacher training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for school districts to submit grant applications for ESEA funds.
  • Evaluate ESEA program implementation and prepare annual performance and data reports.
  • Analyze data to improve State guidance and resources for districts and policymakers.
  • Monitor and assist districts with needs assessments for professional learning and student outcomes.
  • Supervise research and analysis for educator effectiveness and professional learning programs.
  • Oversee ESEA State Level RFPs and contracts for professional development services.
  • Explain current policies and testify on legislation as needed.
