Job summary

The State of NH Fish and Game Department seeks an Education Program Supervisor to oversee statewide public affairs education programs, align them with federal and state funding, and ensure compliance with standards and reporting requirements. The role requires leadership over education units, grant management, and program evaluation.

Responsibilities include budgeting, contracts, legislative monitoring, and collaboration with national initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 4.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 8.5 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
  • Education and experience must be in environmental conservation, natural resources management, recreational management, program administration or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management level position.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements, and evaluates statewide Public Affairs education programming in alignment with direction from the Department leadership.
  • Supervises and coordinates program delivery and outcomes in accordance with programmatic policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Recruits, interviews, recommends hiring, and exercises direct supervision over Public Affairs Education Unit personnel.
