Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an ESE Teacher to support West Lake Preparatory Academy in delivering inclusive education for students with disabilities. You will collaborate with parents, students, and regular education teachers to promote student achievement in accordance with school mission and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education as well as HQ status.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience.
• Certified in at least two areas of Exceptional Education, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver specially designed instruction for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with regular education teachers, parents, and staff to promote inclusion.
• Maintain IEPs, quarterly reports, and progress monitoring.
• Proctor standardized tests and complete progress reporting four times a year.
• Develop and monitor transition plans for students of transition age.
• Coordinate with Related Service Providers to ensure compliance and service delivery.
• Assist with curriculum development and adaptation for inclusive practices.
