Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an ESE Teacher to work with parents, students, and regular education teachers to promote student achievement in line with the school's mission. The role requires compliance with Federal and State regulations and collaboration to deliver inclusive education.

You will maintain IEPs, develop measurable goals, and provide training to staff on inclusion practices, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely progress reports across the caseload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education and HQ status in the subject areas.
• Certified in at least two areas of Exceptional Education, preferred.
• Criminal and employment background checks required.
• Knowledge of learning theory and behavioral strategies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SIS; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and Progress Monitoring for caseload.
• Develop and implement measurable IEP goals using data.
• Collect and report Progress Monitoring data for all goals.
• Conduct IEP meetings within timelines.
• Data-driven instructional decisions to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with regular education teachers and families to support inclusion.
