Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking a paraprofessional to support an ESE K-5 class, with a 1:3 staff/student ratio. You will implement IEP goals, assist with behavior plans, and help with data collection to monitor progress across academics, social, and emotional learning.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPI training, and at least 1 year of classroom experience. Strong collaboration with teachers and therapists is essential, plus attendance at trainings.

Qualifications

• Implements IEP goals and supports students in academic, social, and emotional development.
• Utilizes behavior techniques and classroom management strategies; collects required data.
• Assists with MTSS processes and progress monitoring as directed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individual behavior plans.
• Assist with setting up instructional materials and enrichment for units.
• Administer assessments and progress monitoring.
• Document academic progress through observations and data collection.
• Maintain positive interactions with staff and parents; participate in required trainings.
