Job summary

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking a Learning Specialist for the 2026-27 school year to ensure IEP compliance, support small-group instruction, and coordinate RtI processes across grade levels.

The LS collaborates with families and school teams to meet IEP goals, facilitates regular meetings around student plans, and helps create a positive, data-driven learning environment. Starting salary is $50,000 with benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification (ESE K-12).
• Proven teaching experience with high achievement in the classroom.
• Commitment to racial and educational equity for all children.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IEP compliance and support RtI processes across multiple grades.
• Teach small groups and collaborate with families and school staff.
• Create a positive classroom environment and assess student progress.
• Work with School Principal to define teacher responsibilities.
