Job summary

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking an Immediate ESE Learning Specialist for the 2026-27 school year at our Jacksonville campuses. The LS will ensure IEP compliance, support general education learners, and collaborate with families to advance postsecondary readiness.

The position involves meeting multiple grade levels, facilitating RtI, and delivering small-group and resource instruction. A Bachelor’s degree and Florida ESE teaching eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Florida teaching certification or eligibility (ESE K-12).
• At least one year of teaching experience with a proven track record of high achievement in the classroom.
• Commitment to racial and educational equity for all children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IEP compliance and coordinate IEPs with families.
• Teach small groups and provide support in general education settings.
• Facilitate RtI processes with staff.
• Lead regular meetings around student IEPs and monitor progress.
• Create a positive classroom environment and collaborate with teams.
