D.R. Horton, Inc. in Texas is seeking an Escrow Technician to support the Escrow Branch Department with timely preparation of escrow files and information for closing transactions.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and email. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette and basic real estate/escrow terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Prepare earnest money receipts.
• Prepare opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order legal/vesting and prepare listing kits as necessary.
• Order title commitments and payoff/assumption statement requests.
• Open refinance orders and update payoff figures.
• Open, sort, and file daily mail; respond to customer questions.
