Job summary

First American’s Direct division handles real estate transactions, providing title insurance and settlement services. This role focuses on managing escrow activities, coordinating documents, and ensuring accurate disbursements.

You will work with buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents, performing calculations, recording closings, and maintaining records. A strong eye for detail and knowledge of the escrow industry are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience directly handling escrow transactions preferred.
• Knowledge of escrow/title industry concepts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes escrow transactions by determining requirements, preparing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
• Orders title reports and resolves title defects.
• Maintains escrow accounts and balances funds accurately.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and company policy.
