Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Officer to coordinate timely real estate closings (escrow) in the Financial Service Title-Escrow Department. The role involves supervising escrow activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

The ideal candidate will handle routine residential escrow transactions, train staff, and cultivate relationships with Realtors, lenders, builders, sellers and buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform escrow closings and related tasks in residential resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions.
• Prepare escrow instructions and amendments as applicable.
• Deposit escrow funds, prepare disbursements and balance escrow accounts.
