Job summary

DSLD Homes in Gulfport, MS is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to manage the real estate closing process from start to finish. You will coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to ensure accurate, timely closings.

The ideal candidate has at least two years as an escrow closer, working knowledge of title insurance, and proficiency with Qualia or similar software, plus strong communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Escrow Closer.
• Working knowledge of title insurance issuance.
• Familiarity with Qualia or other closing software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle confidential information.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage real estate closing process from initial title opening through post-closing.
• Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, realtors, and offices.
• Gather and enter file data and review orders/contracts.
• Update colleagues and clients on title research progress.
• Prepare and understand closing documents (title commitments/policies).
• Delegate and manage workflow for each file.
• Maintain ownership and customer support throughout a files life.
• Execute daily time-sensitive deadlines.
• Schedule closings and balance Closing Disclosures.
• Manage escrow accounts (receipts and disbursements).
• Prepare documents for recording and electronic storage.
