First American is seeking an Escrow Officer to grow and service the homebuilder real estate business. You will work with buyers, sellers and lenders to complete escrow transactions and ensure timely closings.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of escrow-related experience, preferably in Homebuilder.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Problem-solving with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• May require escrow officer certification depending on state.
• Comfort with technology and proprietary programs.
• Team player who delivers beyond customer expectations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Grow and service the business by providing outstanding customer service.
• Complete escrow transactions and liaise between buyer, seller, and lender.
• Work cross-functionally with Underwriting to monitor risk.
• Ensure funds are properly accounted for and disbursed.
• Complete closing by reviewing, recording, and filing documents and final statements.
• Prepare status reports on escrow accounts for involved parties.
• Prepare legal documents for closure of the sale.
• Comply with regulatory requirements.
