Job summary

UpEquity Title is seeking an experienced, licensed Escrow Officer to support the full transaction lifecycle from order opening through post-closing. You will work directly with senior leadership in a collaborative, hands-on role within a small team.

You will manage complex transactions, escalations, and workflow execution, ensuring timely disbursements, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with state regulations. This is a high-responsibility, office-based role in Austin.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of experience as a licensed Escrow Officer in Texas or other states.
• Experience managing full escrow lifecycle from opening to post-closing.
• Proficient with title and escrow process and multiple active files.

Responsibilities

• Order Opening: Initiate and organize new files in Qualia, compile initial documentation, and ensure each file is set up for a clean, efficient workflow.
• Title Review: Review title search results from third-party team; analyze chain of title and flag issues.
• Schedule C Clearance: Review and clear Schedule C requirements with curative items.
• Third-Party Orders: Order payoffs, HOA estoppels, surveys, and tax certificates as needed.
• File Documentation: Maintain thorough file notes and ensure audit-ready records.
