Job summary

Advantage Title Group Agency LLC in New York seeks an experienced Escrow Officer to support the closing and settlement process for real estate transactions. You will prepare settlement statements, verify payment and wiring information, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure funds are properly disbursed.

The ideal candidate has 2 years escrow/closing experience in the title industry and a strong understanding of real estate closing processes, with the ability to manage multiple transactions

Qualifications

• National Closing Coordinator or multi-state closing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely settlement statements for real estate transactions, ensuring all fees, credits, payoffs, taxes, and other amounts are reflected.
• Review and verify payment amounts, wiring instructions, and other financial information associated with closings.
• Provide accurate wire disbursement instructions with internal wiring and disbursement teams.
• Review closing documentation and transaction details to identify discrepancies before closing and disbursement.
• Coordinate with internal teams and other parties to obtain information needed to finalize settlement statements.
• Ensure settlement and disbursement activities comply with procedures and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete transaction records and documentation.
• Assist with resolving settlement, funding, or disbursement discrepancies promptly.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines with high accuracy.
• Provide responsive and professional support to internal and external partners during the closing process.

Job Summary

Job Summary: Advantage Title is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to support the closing and settlement process for real estate transactions. This role is primarily responsible for preparing accurate settlement statements, verifying payment and wiring information, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure funds are properly disbursed. The ideal candidate has strong experience preparing and reviewing settlement statements and understands the financial components of real estate closings. Experience supporting closings across multiple states or working in a National Closing Coordinator capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely settlement statements for real estate transactions, ensuring all fees, credits, payoffs, taxes, and other transaction-related amounts are properly reflected.
• Review and verify payment amounts, wiring instructions, and other financial information associated with closings.
• Work closely with the internal wiring and disbursement teams to provide accurate wire disbursement instructions.
• Review closing documentation and transaction details to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy prior to closing and disbursement.
• Coordinate with internal teams and other parties involved in the transaction to obtain information needed to finalize settlement statements.
• Ensure settlement and disbursement activities are completed in accordance with company procedures, underwriting requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete transaction records and documentation.
• Assist with resolving settlement, funding, or disbursement discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide responsive and professional support to internal and external partners throughout the closing process.

Pay Details

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
