BesTitle Agency Inc is seeking an Escrow Officer to coordinate and close real estate transactions. You will manage closings for buyers and sellers, coordinate remote closings, and ensure accurate file handling from start to finish.

Your role includes reviewing title, preparing closing documents, and serving as the main point of contact for all parties involved. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct buyer and seller closings.

• Work up files and ensure accuracy.
• Handle complaints and provide timely resolutions.
• Visit lenders and real estate agents as needed.
• Review and clear title issues for files.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Schedule closings and obtain required updates.
• Prepare CDs and balance with the lender.
• Prepare and review closing documents.
• Serve as main point of contact for all parties.
• Ensure compliance with disbursement requirements.
• Maintain positive relationships with loan officers and agents.
• Confirm information needed by other departments.
• Review title requirements are cleared.
• Coordinate with buyers/sellers/realtors and lenders for documentation.
• Consult File Assigned Attorney for legal questions.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct buyer and seller closings.
• Coordinate remote closings.
• Work up files.
• Handle any and all complaints.
• Make visits/marketing to lenders and real estate agents as needed/requested. (in conjunction with the marketing representative.)
• Review and work to clear title issues for files.
• Train new employees.
• Schedules closings.
• Request updates of title at the time the closing is scheduled.
• Prepare CDs and balance with the lender.
• Prepare/review closing documents.
• Main point of contact for all outside parties for the assigned file.
• Follow company and lender disbursement requirements and provide them to the funding department.
• Maintain positive relationships with loan officers and real estate agents.
• Confirm/provide all information needed that is not handled by other BT departments.
• Review all title requirements are cleared and/or addressed to be cleared.
• Prepare draft/final CD.
• Coordinate with buyers/sellers/realtors and lenders in providing documentation to prepare for closing.
• Reach out to the File Assigned Attorney when legal questions/issues arise.
• Gather all additional Dept required documents (ie-authorizations)
