Job summary

Spartan Title in Plano is seeking an Escrow Funding Specialist with residential title closing experience, preferably across multiple states. You will review documents and approvals for funding, coordinate with lenders, balance and disburse funds, and dispatch checks and wires to ensure timely funding.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of multi-state funding experience.
• Knowledge of escrow accounting requirements.
• Understanding of real estate transaction documentation.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented and flexible.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Understand key touch points of residential title and closing.
• Ability to be the primary contact for escalated issues.
• Working knowledge of title industry systems and software.

Position Summary

The Escrow Funding Specialist must possess residential title closing experience, preferably in multiple states.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review all signed documents and approvals for funding/disbursement of funds
• Obtain funding authorizations from lender, if applicable
• Balance and disburse file
• Cut and send out all checks and wires
• Check Positive Pay daily to verify no check exceptions with the bank
• Help with daily recons and other tasks assigned by Manager

Qualifications

Re:quired Skills

• The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of one year of experience in multi-state fundings, preferably for a national title agent
• Knowledge and understanding of escrow accounting requirements
• Knowledge of real estate transaction documentation
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Understand the key touch points of a residential title and closing transaction
• Ability to be the primary point of contact to assist and resolve escalated issues
