Job summary

First American National Commercial Services in San Antonio is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will assist in opening orders, preparing closing documents, handling disbursements, and following through to close files.

This role requires regular communication with customers, accurate interpretation of agreements, and the ability to use multiple technologies to deliver a superior client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and eager to learn.
• Proficient with MS Office and quick to adapt to new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process: opening orders, closing statements, and disbursement.
• Prepare documents for closing and follow up on tasks.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process.
• Interpret escrow agreements related to closings.
• Use various technologies to enable escrow transactions and customer experience.
• Greet and direct visitors in the office.
• Operate multi-line phone system and direct calls.
