The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of escrow processing experience and a solid understanding of Closing Disclosure preparation, balancing, and issues resolution with escrow teams. Adobe Acrobat skills are required to edit PDFs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of escrow processing experience.
• Working knowledge of escrow processing and closing-related procedures.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat to edit PDF documents.
• Ability to interpret lender instructions, settlement documents, and escrow file information.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support escrow openings, Closing Disclosure preparation, balancing, and other closing-related processing activities.
• Review and balance lender and escrow Closing Disclosures.
• Compare lender instructions, settlement documents, fees, and escrow file information for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify discrepancies in fees, credits, payoffs, and other settlement amounts.
• Determine whether variances may affect the borrower, lender, funding, or scheduled closing.
• Communicate discrepancies and required corrections clearly to escrow teams and other appropriate parties.
• Edit, organize, and manage PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat.
• Follow established escrow procedures and maintain awareness of regulations governing the escrow process.
• Prioritize assignments and meet established turnaround times in a high-volume environment.
• Complete moderately complex assignments using escrow knowledge, experience, and independent judgment.
• Escalate complex or unfamiliar issues to more experienced team members when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and complete escrow records while protecting confidential information.
• Perform additional centralized escrow-processing duties as assigned.
