Job summary

RealtySouth in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Escrow Closer to join our in-office team, Monday–Friday. The role interfaces with buyers and sellers to prepare and execute all documents and balances needed to complete sales and mortgage transactions.

You will monitor transactions for completeness, review payoff, title evidence, reports, mortgage docs, and ensure information is accurate. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting packages, handling closing costs explanations, and resolving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years title closing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadline.
• Accurate handling of documents and figures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation.
• Respond promptly to returned or rejected mortgage/recording packages.
• Prepare transferring and mortgage documentation, HUD Settlement Statements.
• Conduct the closing and explain related documents and closing costs.
• Examine title evidence for defects and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure title issues are resolved prior to closing.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
