D.R. Horton, Inc. in Florida is seeking an Escrow Assistant for its Financial Services Escrow Branch. The successful candidate will assist with timely preparation of escrow files and gather information required to close escrow transactions.

Responsibilities include ordering title commitments, handling payoff statements, preparing loan packages, coordinating closings, and providing customer support to lenders, buyers, and real estate agents.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required; related experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
• Order and update payoff/assumption statements as requested.
• Prepare receipts for funds from customers and lenders.
• Coordinate wires and provide wiring instructions.
• Assist with administrative tasks for branch manager.
• Assist with pre-closing and closing file preparation and recording.

Education

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
