D.R. Horton is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support the Financial Services Escrow Branch. The role focuses on timely preparation of escrow files and gathering information for closing escrow transactions.

The successful candidate will handle opening letters, title commitments, payoff statements, and loan package preparation. Responsibilities include coordinating with lenders, scheduling closings, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
• Order payoff/assumption statements and update as requested.
• Prepare receipts for funds from customers/lenders.
• Coordinate wire transfers and provide wiring instructions.
• Prepare loan packages for lender.
• Assist branch manager with administrative tasks.
• Assist Closer/Escrow Officer with final policy disbursement.
• Handle inquiries from customers/real estate agents about the process.
