Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Assistant for their Financial Services Escrow Branch to support the timely preparation of escrow files and gather information required for closing escrow transactions.

This role involves preparing opening letters, ordering title commitments and payoff statements, arranging wire transfers, and providing administrative support to the branch while delivering professional service to lenders, buyers, and real estate agents.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Fortune 500 company growth and enthusiastic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
• Order and update payoff/assumption statements as requested.
• Prepare receipts for all funds received from Customers and/or lenders.
• Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions.
• Assist branch manager with administrative tasks as requested.
• Open refinance orders.
• Coordinate closings and gather required information for recording.
