Job summary

Old Republic Title is seeking an Escrow Specialist for our Northeast Portland, OR location. This in-office role requires 2+ years of commercial escrow experience and thorough knowledge of title processes, documents, and fees.

You will verify reports, clear encumbrances, coordinate funding, and assist with signing appointments. The position emphasizes accuracy, document management, and contributing to branch efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of commercial escrow experience.
• Knowledge of title insurance policies, endorsements and pricing.
• Knowledge of escrow documents, escrow fees and terminology.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and reviews information in the preliminary report/title commitment and clears encumbrances.
• Process payoff, HOA and utility demands; route tasks to CPU.
• Assist in quoting fees and charges.
• Request/authorize loans to fund and disburse funds.
• Schedule appointments and gather documents for signing.
• Support customers signing of documents in-office.
• Upload documents in the electronic filing system and document conversations for status tracking.
• Prepare funding packages and provide conditions, receipt of funds.
