Job summary

First American is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our Anchorage escrow team and help ensure real estate transactions move smoothly from opening to closing.

You will provide administrative and transaction support to Escrow Officers, coordinate documents, communicate with clients and partners, and assist with signing appointments and closing timelines. This fast-paced role offers growth in the title and escrow field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous escrow, title, mortgage, real estate, banking, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain escrow files.
• Assist with document preparation and file organization.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and internal teams.
• Collect, review, and track required documents and information.
• Help coordinate signing appointments and closing timelines.
• Assist with title, lender, and escrow requirements.
• Support funding, recording, and post-closing activities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional service to clients and partners.
• Help the team stay organized, responsive, and deadline-focused.
