Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Escrow Clerk/Processor in Washington state to support opening, processing, and closing escrow files. You will order title commitments, loan payoffs, and related documents while reviewing escrow instructions and settlement statements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in escrow or related real estate fields, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, lenders, and staff. Proficiency with computer systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with real estate documents, including purchase agreements, deeds, loan documents, and title commitments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing instructions, reviewing documents, and balancing files.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to resolve document discrepancies, title issues, and closing conditions.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to calculate balances and prorations and verify financial figures.
  • 1–2 years of escrow, title, mortgage, banking, or related real estate experience is usually preferred; entry-level positions may be available with training.
