Job summary

Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical is seeking experienced ES-3J Journeyman Low Voltage Technicians to support a large-scale mission-critical data center project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. You will work alongside licensed journeymen and project leadership on installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of structured cabling and low-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Valid New Mexico EE-3J License.
• Minimum two years low-voltage construction experience preferred.
• Experience with structured cabling installations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA10 Certification required.
• OSHA30 Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and support structured cablingsystems including copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Install cable tray, conduit, pathways, racks, cabinets, and related low voltage infrastructure.
• Assist with cable pulls, cabling dressing, labeling, and termination activities.
• Support installation of access control, security, communications, and network infrastructures systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and system verification activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling standards.
• Support commissioning and project turnover activities.
• Coordinate work with foremen, superintendents, project management, and other trades.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site-specific safety procedures.
