Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks an ERSEA Specialist to lead eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance across EPIC Head Start, Early Head Start, and ECEAP programs in Yakima, WA. You will supervise a five-person team, monitor records, and ensure compliance with Head Start and ECEAP standards.

You will coordinate recruitment strategies, maintain accurate data via ELMS and ChildPlus, and collaborate with health and nutrition staff to uphold safety and nutrition requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 3+ years experience in enrollment, eligibility, family services, or related program function.
• 2+ years supervisory experience leading staff.
• Experience monitoring data, maintaining records, and using information to address service gaps.
• Ability to interpret program requirements and train staff; work with families and cross-site teams.
• Proficiency with ELMS and ChildPlus; valid WA driver license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ERSEA practices across all EPIC programs and sites.
• Supervise a team of five (Intake/Outreach Manager, two Enrollment Managers, two Enrollment Coordinators).
• Ensure eligibility, enrollment, and attendance meet Head Start and ECEAP requirements.
• Monitor ERSEA records, enrollment levels, and attendance trends; coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain ERSEA monitoring processes and participate in annual self-assessment and improvement plans.
• Coordinate recruitment and outreach to respond to community needs and ensure full enrollment.
• Collaborate with Health/Nutrition staff to meet health, safety, and nutrition standards.
• Oversee ELMS/ChildPlus to track eligibility and enrollment data; identify trends and vacancies.
• Attend community meetings as determined by Head Start Director.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services, early childhood education, public administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
