YMCA of the East Bay is seeking an Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist for Hayward/Oakland/Emeryville/Berkeley. The role manages ERSEA for Early Childhood Initiatives, ensuring Head Start and CDE funding compliance across Areas 1 and 2.

Based in Berkeley, it supports multiple sites including Hayward, Oakland, Emeryville and Berkeley. You will oversee applications, attendance, reporting, and training, while safeguarding confidential ERSEA data and promoting equitable access to high-quality

Qualifications

Knowledge of State and Federal programs - CDE Title V, Head Start, and eligibility determination.
2+ years administrative or customer service management experience, ideally serving low-income, diverse populations.
BA/BS in Administration, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Services, or related field preferred.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and training abilities.
Valid CA driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, background clearance, TB/immunization compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and strengthen ERSEA systems, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Review, audit, and process applications for accuracy and eligibility.
Maintain attendance tracking systems, generate reports, and propose improvements.
