Job summary

Southeast Louisiana University is seeking a Development and Database Coordinator to lead systems analysis and programming for the Office of Technology projects, including the Workday project. This role supervises staff and oversees design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of applications and programs.

The coordinator will review projects before migration to production and work with the Director of Programming and Web Services to enforce change control practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) by hire date.
• Four+ years of application development experience including ERP development, SQR programming, XML reporting, and Workday integration.
• Experience as a team member on a Workday implementation project.
• Robust knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead systems analysis and programming for Office of Technology (OT) projects, including the Workday project.
• Supervise staff in designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining applications and programs.
• Review and approve projects before migration to the production environment.
• Develop and enforce change control practices for OT software projects.
