Job summary

Hope College in Holland, MI is seeking a Software Manager for Key ERP Systems to coordinate the operation, maintenance, and user support of the college's core administrative software portfolio, including Ellucian Banner and related tools.

You will drive strategy, manage data integrity, and provide training and documentation to end-users while collaborating with campus teams on upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, SIS, CRM) in higher education or similar.
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends or nights.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative/innovative problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation and maintenance of the Key ERP portfolio.
• Shape strategy and roadmap for the software suite.
• Learn portfolio and related software to support campus use.
• Ensure usability, accessibility, and branding alignment across interfaces.
• Provide training and high-level documentation to end users.
• Translate technical concepts for functional users and technical staff.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with campus teams to plan upgrades and enhancements.
• Stay informed about market developments and best practices.
