Job summary

MTI Motion, a Steel Partners company, seeks an IT ERP/BI specialist to support the ERP environment, including order to cash, procurement, and manufacturing modules. The role emphasizes data integrity, reporting automation, and collaboration with business users to meet operational needs in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with MS SQL Server, BI reporting tools, and multiple ERP systems to deliver reliable data and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting mid-to-large ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor or similar.
• Experience with Aptean Made2Manage is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in SQL with SQL Server: SSRS, SSAS, SSIS; BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, maintain, and document company databases, primarily using MS SQL Server.
• Identify risk and opportunity in data, reporting accuracy, and consistency.
• Generate and automate timely and accurate business reports to support all lines of business.
• Contribute to ERP data updates to improve visibility to product costs.
• Provide support for applications, enhancement projects, and lean initiatives.
• Translate business findings into clear business requirement documents and functional designs.
• Test scripts to validate functional designs and ensure delivery quality.
• Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing with business users.
• Understand business processes and usage of business applications.
